How urgent after-hours calls get noted
After each call, an AI review of the conversation sorts it by reason and priority. Calls about a dental emergency or urgent dental problem, calls where the caller was directed to 911, and calls marked for an urgent callback are listed first in the morning summary, tagged URGENT, for the team to call back. This is not clinical triage and is not a promise that every urgent situation is caught. HaloDesk does not give clinical advice.
How it works
- HaloDesk answers under your practice's name.
- It records the caller's name, callback number and what they said.
- After each call, an AI review of the conversation sorts it by reason and priority.
- Calls about a dental emergency or urgent dental problem, calls where the caller was directed to 911, and calls marked for an urgent callback are tagged URGENT and listed first in the 7:00 AM summary under “urgent callbacks: call back first.”
What HaloDesk does not do
- No clinical advice or triage decisions. The AI review is a sort for your team's callback list, not a medical judgment.
- No claim that every urgent call is caught.
- No booking. Your practice decides how to follow up. If your practice has its own after-hours emergency instructions, keep them in place.
